Nicholas Kerr was born in December 1980, raised in Johannesburg and currently lives in Maboneng. Despite getting schooled in traditional arts, his preferred artistic medium is spraypaint. From 1999 to the present, he made public spaces and environments his canvas with a spray can in hand. Better known as Dekor One, in the South African graffiti scene, he is a contemporary artist primarily recognized for street art. His capability of painting anything with a spray can has earned him a few projects.
